Why We Exist
Across the UK today, millions of families are facing financial hardship:
Around 4.3 million children are living in poverty
Nearly 1 in 3 children grow up in low-income households
Many families struggle to access timely, flexible support when they need it most
At the same time, many donors want to give regularly – but often feel disconnected from where their money goes, or unsure of the real difference it makes.
We exist to change that.
From Global Humanitarian Work to Local Impact
Our roots are in international humanitarian work, including collaborations linked to Save the Children and partnerships with organisations such as the World Bank, United Nations agencies, national governments, and financial regulators.
In some of the world’s most challenging environments, we helped tackle a critical problem: how to get financial support directly to people – safely, efficiently, and transparently.
This led us to develop LOTUS20, a technology platform designed to deliver aid directly to individuals, with full visibility and accountability.
It worked.
But it also revealed something important: the same challenges exist here in the UK.
